'Ursus arctos horribilis' doesn't sound so nice, and if you happen on a mother with her cubs the 'horribilis' part may make sense. Most of the time though they'll be foraging for fruit, berries, nuts and honey. The big hump on a grizzly's back is muscle that helps it to dig.
Ears, Claws, Snout
Autumn is a large 8 year old Grizzly Bear. Adapting to life as a mother has not been an easy task for Autumn, but she is determined to raise her cubs to be strong and self-sufficient. Watching them grow and learn fills her with joy, but also with the knowledge that she must guide them through the changing seasons and prepare them for the challenges of the wild.
