These aquatic birds drift quietly through the rivers and waterways of Aniland.

New romantic bonds are formed each season, with a vibrant beak that signifies good health being an attractive trait.

Brooke was born on a warm, sunny day in a quiet pond, surrounded by lush, green foliage.

From the moment she hatched, it was evident that she was different. Her feathers were a pure, striking white, and her eyes were a deep, enchanting black.
        
While her siblings had vibrant colours and patterns, Brooke stood out with her unique appearance.

This species is known to be grumpy and unpredictable, and they can weigh over 800kg of mostly muscle and sharp horn.

It goes without saying, therefore, that they should be treated with caution!

Buffalo

Weighing up to 2.5 tonnes, these are the largest land mammals on Aniland. They're very clever. Probably more intelligent than you in fact.

Highly social, you'll often find them frolicking in a watering hole, chasing away the hippos.

Despite being smaller than most calves his age, Mosi never let his size hold him back.
      
His large black eyes sparkle with curiosity and wonder, and he can often be found exploring the world around him with his small ears flapping and his long trunk eagerly reaching out to investigate new sights and smells.

Oh to reach the lofty heights of the giraffe; able to see for miles and reach the sweetest delights at the very tops of the trees.

They can stand up 30 minutes after being born, and run after just 10 hours.

Thankfully they are 'gentle giants', as they are more than 10 times stronger than the average human despite being the same height.

Gorillas on Aniland love to laze around in the forest surrounded by their respective troops.

'Ursus arctos horribilis' doesn't sound so nice, and if you happen on a mother with her cubs the 'horribilis' part may make sense.

Most of the time though they'll be foraging for fruit, berries, nuts and honey.

The big hump on a grizzly's back is muscle that helps it to dig.

Autumn is a large 8 year old Grizzly Bear. 
        
Adapting to life as a mother has not been an easy task for Autumn, but she is determined to raise her cubs to be strong and self-sufficient.
        
Watching them grow and learn fills her with joy, but also with the knowledge that she must guide them through the changing seasons and prepare them for the challenges of the wild.

The roo is a bouncy marsupial that can hop 25 feet in a single bound.

They use their tail as another limb, which is especially useful for standing on during boxing matches with their rivals.

Groups of kangaroos on Aniland are called mobs.

Have you ever woken in your tent in the dawn light to a lion outside licking the dew off the material? Best to stay still and not make a sound!

Lions on Aniland are particularly cunning, and extremely loyal to their pride.

Their name derives from the Afrikaans word 'weit', meaning wide and referring to their wide mouths.

Their have poor vision, like to stay in open grassland, and tend to run from threats.

Myla was born on a small, secluded iceberg nestled in the vast, frigid expanse of Aniland's Antarctic region.
Her parents, a loving and nurturing pair, raised Myla alongside her three siblings
        
Despite the close-knit community of Emperor penguins that surrounded her, Myla always felt a bit different from the rest. While her siblings and peers were content with their daily routines, Myla harboured a deep yearning for the unknown.

Drifting along in ocean currents around Aniland, this marine reptile loves nothing more than snacking on seaweed and sea grass.

They'll rest on the seafloor for up to five hours before coming up for a breath.

Green Sea Turtle

The position of their eyes on the sides of their wide head gives them a 360 degree vision of their underwater world.

They use that field of vision to look for fish, octopuses, squid and crustaceans.

They don't seek out human prey, but will attack if provoked.
